So, how does a parent recover after telling his own daughter that her favorite colors are his least favorite colors? Doh! Listen to Episode 29 to find out how I handled that debacle.

Seriously though, I love talking life plans with my children. It doesn't matter to me whether they pursue these plans or not, because what they dream of today may change tomorrow as they grow and discover themselves. The important thing is that we show support for our kids as they pursue what is on their hearts and learn about themselves.
