The challenge was that we were not ready to start thinking of business ideas, and I had to remind the rest of us to simply stick to the topic of listing what we do and use every day. The business ideas will come later as we start asking ourselves what we can provide that meets those daily needs in a better way than what is available today.
We used a dry erase board. Everyone provided ideas to the list. Emma was our scribe. Liv was the biggest culprit in jumping the gun by throwing business ideas onto the table during this exercise. I think there is value in having kids help with this process. They have an innate ability to keep things simple.
