We are back with the Family Time Q&A Podcast. I never realized how busy the Spring activities could become until I tried to blog and podcast during that time. Emma and I are back together to talk about Memorial Day, my Silent Patrol tribute to our fallen heroes, Emma’s plans for Summer, and ideas for a season pass that will keep our family entertained in the local area.

My mother-in-law stopped by my route to capture a quick interview with me. |
SHOW NOTES
Is "ironic" a word?
Yes, it is! Often, it is a misused word, but not in our case. Here's the definition I found in a Google search. I love Google.

Corpus Christi Family Fun
Corpus Christi area ideas for a Summer season pass. After a few visits with any of these options, you've covered the costs of regular admissions and then it is like they’re paying you to visit them again and again. We only choose one venue per year with our limited budget, so don’t feel like you have to do all of these memberships. Pick one that interests you, or share with us something we may have missed.
Hurricane Alley Water Park http://www.hurricanealleycc.com/ - The best deal if you live locally is to get a season pass for the entire family. Find them on special and it’s an even better deal!
Texas State Aquarium http://www.texasstateaquarium.org/ - What I love about memberships here are the perks that come with the membership like free parking, discounts in the gift shop, and access to special events like viewing fireworks on Independence Day.
Museum of Science and History https://www.ccmuseum.com/ - This place just went through an overhaul recently bringing on more interactive exhibits for kids. What’s not to like about this museum in the Summer. It’s air conditioned, educational, and fun!
Schlitterbahn, Corpus Christi http://www.schlitterbahn.com/corpus-christi At the time of this episode, we are still waiting for a date when this water park will open so we can experience the world’s largest lazy river.
